Concise Beam
Key Features
- Design one-way slabs and beams, using either standard or custom section profiles.
- Comprehensive design checks, including flexure, shear, torsion, deflection/camber, cracking, prestress loss, and more.
- Any combination of mild reinforcing and prestressing, with options for placement, anchorage, and slippage.
- Composite member design with interface shear calculations.
- Moving loads using predefined vehicles or custom definitions.
- Support for load distribution with hollowcore slabs.

Simple and Intuitive Interface
A straightforward, easy-to-use interface for the analysis and design of precast concrete beams.
Standard Section Library
Select a section from a library of the most common design profiles.
Section Templates
Use the included templates to define your own profiles, including hollowcore and solid slabs, IT and ledger beams, single and double tees, and box girders.
Custom Section Editor
Define a custom section or modify an existing one in the section editor.
Detailed Loading Input
Input static point loads, moments and torques; area loads; line loads and torques; and moving loads. Beam and topping self-weights are calculated automatically.
Detailed Reinforcing Input
Use any number of layers of mild reinforcing and prestressing, including rebar, strands, and welded wire mesh. Specify the grade, anchorage, and cutoff points individually for each layer, including debonded, deflected, or slipped strands and epoxy-coated rebar.
Graphical Results
Graphical display of results, including flexure, shear, and torsion analysis, deflection and camber estimates, prestress forces, concrete stresses, and handling stresses.
Printable Reports
Print a detailed, customizable report to display all inputs and outputs.
